I think it works, but since I was trying to show specific ideas, it doesn't quite match what I pictured in my mind.

Does this piece work the way you intended?

No because for the first map, I wanted it to look like an apartment building and others across the street, but I only showed the buildings. For the second map, it was hard to see that they are house around the circle.
