Does this piece match your intended aesthetics?

This piece does not look the way I want it to yet because after sketching I am torn between creating something abstract or more concrete. I want it to connect to the title of the piece, however throughout the week I am also debating on whether I should change the title aswell. Finally, these sketches demonstrate how my intent is to include a woman that represents me and my soul in some way/form.

Does this piece work the way you intended?

No. It does not because I want to add more color and use different materials as I reach the final piece. I intend to use a canvas and acrylic paint.

This piece looks the way I wanted it to in its size and aesthetic. I think it conveys what I want it to while also leaving room for interpretation.

Does this piece work the way you intended?

Yes! I think this piece transmits the themes I wanted to share of solitude, growth, and the gray areas that life throws at us.
